About Ocean Cloud Global Logistics
As the youngest son of Henricus Johannes Joosten, Roland Joosten grew up in his father’s DAF 2300 cab. He spent all his free time travelling with his father throughout Benelux, and so the trade of driving was instilled in him from an early age on.
At the age of 18, Roland Joosten obtained his heavy goods vehicle licence. In 1993, Roland Joosten started as a subcontractor for Van Den Bosch Transporten in Erp, as one of the first to operate in the Van Den Bosch authentic colours. There, he began working in tanker transport and continued to do so for several years.

The company expanded with more trucks, and Roland, also as a truck driver, went on to work for H&S, Wemmers, Hoyer Food, Dekker and Tress.
In 2006, Roland decided to stop working as a driver for his own company and purchased his first food tanker semi-trailer to take on contracts directly from the larger food producers. In this he succeeded and its customer portfolio grew steadily.
Focused on transport of liquid foodstuffs, with flexibility and performance as its two key pillars, the company expanded.
As a result, Ocean Cloud Group now has an annual turnover of 25 million euros and operates from branches in the Netherlands, Bulgaria, Germany and Belgium, with a fleet of 70 truck units and 120 tanker trailers/food containers. Specialising in road transport and intermodal services, Ocean Cloud has secured a significant market share in the liquid food sector over the last 10 years.
Through its two in-house cleaning stations in Vlissingen and Beringe, it can guarantee high standards of food safety.
By strategically establishing its operations, Ocean Cloud can serve its customers on a large scale as well as tailor-made in the ports of Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Antwerp, Ghent and Vlissingen within a short timeframe.
Flexibility and performance come first!
